Case with fine Boulle marquetry and gilt bronze ornamentation, clock feet in the form of griffins, clock surmounted with a figure who symbolizes courage (victory of David in the battle with Goliath) . Gilt dial with fourteen white enamel plates, signed by the retailer Julien Le Roy, à St. Antoine Paris. A 30 hour movement, pendulum with silk suspension, striking hours, half hour and quarters on two bells. HxWxD 53x28x19cm.
