1970's Emilio Pucci Black Strapless Evening Gown

Sensual elegance takes centre stage in this long Emilio Pucci evening gown. Some pieces have the ability to make me catch my breathe when I first see them and this is one that did. Emilio Pucci did not always design pieces in his signature prints. Every once in a while he would throw in a solid color, less so as time passed and his prints became his signature style. But in the earlier days you did see solid colored garments. The gown is made out of his signature lightweight silk jersey and has a boned bodice which makes it comfortable to wear. It ensures a flattering finish with its elegant strapless design, floor length silhouette and intricate crystals, sequins and beads stitched on the bodice. It is an absolutely gorgeous Pucci piece in an excellent condition. A true piece of vintage.
