Description
French Art Deco desk clock
A French Art Deco desk clock, with a case in silver, lapis, and onyx, and set with marquesite, made circa 1925. The dial is predominantly blue embellished by asymmetrical angular geometrical figures. The time is indicated by gilt metal moon hands on a gold-painted Arabic chapter ring. The lapis base is marked FRANCE. The nickel Swiss 15 jewels movement is driven by a spring in a spring barrel and is of eight day-duration. Dimensions: 13 x 7.5 x 2.5 cm.
