Description
These to plates without foot ring (commonly called pancakes) are decorated with an abstract flower pattern. The central plane and the rim are decorated with ribbons of repeating patterns. Both plates are dated 1713. The pattern of the rim is inspired by designs of the French architect Daniël Marot (1662-1752), who at the time enjoyed great popularity.
