The story of Perseus and Andromeda a very oft depicted because of it's popularity as folk story. We see Perseus after cutting off Medusa’s head, flying back home on the back of Pegasus, still holding the head. On the way, he encountered a beautiful woman named Andromeda chained to some rocks as an offer to a sea serpent to ease Poseidon's tempers. He slays the serpent while putti, symbols of love loosen Andromeda's chains. Restored.
