10-cm engraved silvered dial with rare 24-hour Arabic numerals and silver hands signed Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand London No. 3402, subsidiaries for seconds and up/down, engraved medaillons for "By appointment to the Queen" and "Gold Medal of Honour, Paris Exhibition 1855", 56-hour spring driven fusee and chain movement with Earnshaw's detent escapement, maintaining power and bi-metallical balance with helical spring, ringed pillars and spotted plates signed Charles Frodsham London, brass case suspended in gimbals, three tier mahogany box with brass handles and strips, an ivory plaque to the front with similar signature.
