An attractive French gilt brass gorge cased alarm carriage clock with grande sonnerie and repeat, circa 1884
enamel dial with Roman numerals and alarm subsidiary below, Breguet hands, 8-day movement with fine platform lever escapement, rack grande sonnerie striking on two gongs with regulating lever on the bottom of the case, alarm on a gong, good gilt brass gorge case with beveled glass panels, inscribed at the back W.M.M. Christmas 1884
