Brass movement. Verge escapement, going and striking trains, hour and half-hour count wheel striking. Iron dial 29x25 cm, covered with (original) brown velvet. Gilt brass chaptering with Roman numerals. Pierced and engraved gilt hands. Singed on a shield with putty and on the back plate P.Le Maire A Paris. Ebonised and tortoiseshell veneered case.
