Description

A 17th century cupboard, a so called troon-or buffetkast, made of oak, walnut, boxwood and veneers of ebony and rosewood. Made in the second quarter of the 17th century.

A 17th century cupboard, a so called troon-or buffetkast, made of oak, walnut, boxwood and veneers of ebony and rosewood. It is a Renaissance cupboard made in the second quarter of the 17th century. This very costly made cupboard is in fact an artcabinet because the interior has panneling in a profiled frame with very expensive rosewood veneer on it. The quality of the carving has reached the top in the difficult oak, but for the even more finer carving they used boxwood and walnut. This cupboard is still in a very good condition.
