Description
a Dutch Renaissance drawleaf table with ball-shaped legs a so called "bolpoottafel".
a Dutch Renaissance drawleaf table with ball-shaped legs a so called "bolpoottafel". The top has two leaves that can be pulled out to almost double the length. It is a Northern Netherlandish table from the early type because the low stretchers have a square form instead of the later double Y-shaped form. The fluting in the upperhouses of the legs are inlaid with ebony.
