A carved mirrorframe made of polychrome lime-wood. This frame is Dutch. It is made in the early Dutch Baroc period, ca.1660. This frame is decorated at the bottom with a lob in auricular style and the sides and top with leaves and flowers. This kind of frame is typical for the Dutch frames for mirrors and paintings from the second part of the seventeenth century.
