Description
DE HAGEMANN Godefroy. (Naples 1820 - Paris 1877). Animated orientalist landscape. Oil on canvas - Antique frame: 80cm x 60cm / 115cm x 95cm. French school dated 1874
Littr. The artist has exhibited in the salons between 1861 & 1872 and is most famous for his views of the city of Cairo, Egypt. Works in the following museums: Chartres, Dijon, MBA Paris, Nantes, Honfleur, Rennes, Laval, Bowes (UK) and Egyptian Diplomatic Club (Cairo).
