Description
signed Frans Masereel, titled, dated 1944 and inscriptions on the back
Executed in the Moulin de Bézis - a watermill on the river Laussou – near Boynet. Frans Masereel stayed in the abandoned watermill east of Bordeaux from October 1942 until Mai 1945. Until January 1949 they stayed in the 18th century Château de Boynet, near Bézis. In January 1949 Frans Masereel established himself definitively in Nice.
