Description
The Goddess of Fortune smiles at you. An impressive silver sculpture on a red marble base, representing the Goddess Fortune with her personal attributes. The statue, manufactured in 1895, is not only an eye catcher, but is also interesting from a historical point of view. The Dutch brewer Heineken commissioned it as a present for the Hulscher brothers, owners of Die Port van Cleve in Amsterdam, on the occasion of their silver anniversary. The commission was given to Edwin Weissenfels, designer in Munich.
