In the Mitraism, Vaq-Vaq tree is the name of a mythical tree which has leaves during the days and heads of people and animals at nights. The interesting technique used in knotting this Tabriz carpet does not exist anymore. To find out the differences in this technique with the techniques used in other carpets, inspect the back of the carpet.
