Johan Frederik Cornelis Scherrewitz, born March 18th, 1868 in Amsterdam he died in Hilversum August 9th, 1951. He painted and made drawings of landscapes with cattle and horses, the seaside with workman and horses. Scherrewitz lived and worked in Amsterdam, Laren, Haarlem and Hilversum. His work was often exported to the United Kingdom en de United States of America. Exhibitions in The Hague, Amsterdam and Arnhem.
