Louis Thevenet was born in Brugge in 1874, he died in Halle in 1930 (Belgium). In Nieuwpoort he was a student of Scoupreman and Oleffe. After 1903 he settled in Brussels where he was a friend of Ch. Dehoy. Post impressionistic painter of interiors and still lives. Louis Thevenet was invited to join the "Libre Esthétique" in 1904. Works in possession of museums in Antwerp and Brussels.
