Cornelis C. Dommersen was born in Utrecht, December 6th, 1834, he died supposedly in Great Britain. He lived and worked in Amsterdam in 1852, in 1861 his mother died and in that year he left for Great Britain, probably together with his brothers. From 1877 till 1882 he lived in Brussels (Belgium). Painter of sea- and riverviews with ships, also known as painter of townviews. Exhibitions in The Hague and Rotterdam.
