Blitz Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art was founded in Amsterdam in 1978. Since then Dries and Diana Blitz, later with Willemijn Murray, have sold many fine objects to collectors and museums worldwide. Pieces bought from us are now found in:
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The British Museum, The Victoria & Albert Museum, Harvard University, The HongKong Museum of Art,The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The National Gallery of Australia, Musée Guimet, The National Palace Museum in Taiwan and many other fine museums and galleries. We sell to major private collectors all over the world.
While we are renowned for our early Chinese ceramics and works of art we usually also stock fine pieces from later periods and from other Asian cultures.
