Paol & Co. Fine Art, Hilversum Art Dealers / Agents / Valuers 17th-20th Century Fine Art
Paol & Co. is a small and dedicated agency, founded in Amsterdam in 1999. Directors are Erik Paol and his wife Ina Bosschers, both have an outstanding trackrecord in auctioneering. The office is open by appointment only.
We purchase and sell nationally and internationally on behalf of others and for own inventory. Paol & Co. specializes in the artists Isaac Israels, Willem Hussem, Carel Visser and Piet Ouborg and chooses to work at a selected level of quality without excluding any historical period. Also, we extensively manage a few private collections and artist’s estates. Currently we sell from the estates of Hildo Krop, Theo Kurpershoek, Ed Dukkers, Willy Boers and Peter Alma.
As a sworn valuer, Erik assesses 17th - 20th century paintings for insurance and succession purposes, being registered with the Dutch Federation of Auctioneers, Brokers and Valuers in Moveable Goods (TMV). Paol & Co. also researches provenance, authenticity and advises on restoration and is known for solving complicated issues and settling disputes.
The fair we occassionally participate in is the national fair for Modern and Contemporary Art, Art-Amsterdam, for which fair Erik has been longtime member of the board.
