The E.J. van Wisselingh & Co fine art Gallery was founded in 1838, and is one of the oldest galleries in The Netherlands. In 1999 the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam organized an exhibition and published a book about its distinguished history. Major Dutch artists like Breitner, Matthijs Maris, Bauer, Willink, Witsen and De Zwart sold many works through our Gallery. Famous works by Courbet, Daumier, Redon and Jongkind changed hands through E.J. van Wisselingh & Co.

The gallery is owned by sworn appraiser (beedigd taxateur) Willem de Winter.
