Otto Eerelman was born in Groningen March 23rd, 1839. He died in Groningen October 3rd, 1926. (Holland). Student of the Artschool Minerva in Groningen and the Antwerp Artschool, he also studied in Paris and Brussels. He lived and worked in The Hague, Arnheim and Groningen, in Groningen he was a teacher at the artschool. Painter of genre and animals (dogs and horses), he also made etchings and lithographs. Exhibitions in The Hague, Groningen and Antwerp. Works by Otto Eerelman in possession of numerous Dutch museums.
