Axel Vervoordt displays his collection in his château in ’s-Gravenwezel (near Antwerp), and since 1999-2000 also at the nearly 19the century industrial “Kanaal” site in Wijnegem. At these two locations Axel Vervoordt exhibits an exclusive selection from a unique art collection: archaeological fragments, oriental sculptures, 18th century furniture and contemporary paintings. All the items, whatever their origin or value, have a timeless and universal beauty and an intrinsic purity emphasised by the weathering of time.
