Eurantica Brussels presents three different styles of antiques dealers and art galleries: Classic Antiques, XXth Century and Extra European Art & Archeology, which strengthen the eclecticism, one of the fair’s strengths.
Theme: the continents
Strategically placed in the heart of Europe, Brussels has always been influenced by other cultures and is therefore an international place of cultural exchange. With this in mind Eurantica Brussels chose the continents as this year’s theme. This theme not only brings the mixture of European, Tribal and Oriental art to the fore, but will also allow dealers to put together the stunning displays which have made the reputation of Eurantica Brussels.
Strict selection and supervision of authenticity
The exhibitors are professionals of high repute, and only admitted after rigorous scrutiny by the Committee of Selection of Eurantica. The Committee is a multi-disciplinary team of independent experts who base their decisions on the Eurantica Charter. This method guarantees the quality of the antiques dealers exhibiting at the fair, and is further strengthened by the same Committee’s detailed study, before the fair’s official opening, of every article on display. Any article not satisfying the Charter’s requirementsis withdrawn!
Moreover, five members of the Committee are on hand throughout the exhibition to inform and advise potential buyers, and to issue Certificates of Authenticity for the collectors’ pieces.
Knowledgeable collectors and young lovers of art, ancient or modern
Over the last 28 years, this most prominent event in the Belgian world of antiques has earned itself a place among the best-known exhibitions in Europe, attended by more than 30,000 knowledgeable collectors, as well as young lovers of ancient art from Belgium and elsewhere; over 20% of the collectors are from abroad.
