Gerard Willem Johan van Apeldoorn, born in Zwolle June 14th 1885, he died June 27th 1961 in Blaricum (Holland). Pupil of J. Middeleer in Brugge (Belgium) and A. Jamar in Brussels. He lived and worked in Belgium, The Hague till 1936, Zeist till 1941 and the rest of his life in Blaricum. Painter of town- and villageviews and landscapes.
