Adrianus David Hilleveld was born in Amsterdam, April 16th, 1838. For five years he was a student of Valentijn Bing, later on of Abraham Hulk. He worked and lived in Rotterdam and Utecht. Painter of mainly marines and beachscenes. Exhibitions in Amsterdam, The Hague and Leeuwarden.
