The unglazed white stoneware jug has a flattened pewter lid with monogram on the inside.
 
Conical shaped jug with three horizontally decorated layers:
 
-King David:     REX DAVIT 1572
-Joshua:           IOSVE VAN GOT FERARTNET
-Hektor:            HECTOR VON DROI
 
The decorated layer below depicts the Creation of Eve,  the Fall and the Expulsion from Paradise.
 
Looking at the composition, choice of patterns and monogram this jug seems closely related to a Schnelle dated 1575 in the Hetjensmuseum in Düsseldorf.
