French 18th Century Louis XV bronze wall cartel clock circa 1745. The bronzes are marked with a tax mark so called "'C' couronne" the clock figure at the bottom is "Father time" - Cronus, at the top, the woman carrying the scythe of Cronus.

Lovely original ormolu gilding, "go and striking", repeating on demand.

French 18th Century Louis XV bronze wall cartel clock circa 1745. The bronzes are marked with a tax mark so-called "'C' couronne" the clock figure at the bottom is "Father time" - Cronus, at the top, the woman carrying the scythe of Cronus.
