A small French brass lantern clock with alarm clock. On the brass case is a bell in a bell cross crowned by a decorative vase standing on four decorative vases.

Dial

The 9.5 cm diameter engraved dial has Roman numerals and a foliage engraved center signed Jacques Bonleu
à Orleans. The clock has a single iron hour hand and an engraved alarm disc.

Movement

The movement is powered by a weight and has a running time of thirty hours. It is regulated by verge escapement in combination with a silk suspension pendulum. The clock has an alarm that strikes a bell.

Housing

On the brass case is a bell in a bell cross crowned by a decorative vase standing on four decorative vases. On the front is a pierced, engraved fret decorated with a mask between foliage. On the sides are unengraved frets with doors underneath. The clock hangs on the wall by means of a bracket and spurs.
