Eight-day weight-driven movement with anchor escapement and long seconds pendulum.Oak cabinet which is veneered with beautiful burr walnut.
Arched dial, silver-plated chapter ring with engraved Roman numerals, surrounded by a minute ring with Arabic numerals. Above the sixth hour a silver-plated and engraved signature plagette, 'R h Robinson London'. Below the twelfth hour an engraved and silver-plated seconds ring with Arabic numerals with seconds division. In the bar an engraved ring with indication of date and months, in the center very fine engraving. Both the chapter ring and the date ring are surrounded by beautifully cast and chiselled openwork casting.

Eight-day weight-driven movement with anchor escapement and long seconds pendulum. Self-correcting saw striking mechanism that strikes on a bell throughout the hours.
Housing
Oak cabinet which is veneered with beautiful burr walnut. The dial door is flanked by two walnut columns with bronze bases above and below, above the bar and top cap floral openwork sawwork. The top cap is crowned with chimneys with bronze finial spheres on top. The arched cabinet door is decorated with inlaid lemon wood piping. Square base cabinet that rests on a double floor plinth.
