Fire gilded bronze case. Depiction of much-discussed 18th century theme: In contrast to Amor's scandalous acts, he is voluntarily robbed of his weapons and the young woman takes the love arrows off and receives a garland of flowers for this. The young woman supports herself on a stick and can thus confirm her loyalty and friendship as a person. However, she is also Psyche, who marries Amor after many adventures and hereby promises her eternal loyalty. Two turtling doves appear under the arms of both lovers, confirming the love couple with this. In the base we see on a plaque the famous love couple Amor and psyche in a landscape. Again, the attributes of friendship and loyalty are depicted here. Next to Psyche stands a tree trunk wrapped in flowers and at their feet lies a dog, which also reflects the symbol of rope.
