This beautiful pendule  called "La mer nourricière" , "the nourishing sea" is an allegory of love.

Venus, the goddess of love, tenderly feeds Amor from her breast.

The performance continues on the base. The lovely cupids, sitting on a cloud, read a book,

the sealed letter is given to Hermes, the bringer of the love letter to the loved one .

The hope for answer continues to glow and is represented by the anchors, which traditionally stand for hope.

The dog stands for loyalty to the beloved one.

This model pendule is designed by Pierre-Philippe Thomire.

This pendule is certainly made in the workshops of Thomire, because there are also stamped models of this model pendule.
