Attractive gilt and patinated bronze urn shaped case. Movement with eight duration and half hour striking on a bell.

The dial

The 11-cm enamel dial has Roman numerals. The blued steel hands are of the Breguet type.

The movement

The movement is driven by two spring barrels and has a duration of eight days. It is being regulated by anchor escapement in combination with a silk suspended pendulum. The clock strikes the hours and half hours on a bell by means of a countwheel.

The case

The movement is fitted in a patinated bronze urn shaped case adorned with classical ormolu reliefs at the front. To the sides are similar reliefs that form the tail of a mythical animal with wings crawling upwards. In the middle is a stepped base with a seated putto. The whole is supported by stylized animal feet with acanthus leaves and connected by a similar classical relief. Placed on a stepped moulded base raised on turned feet.
