A very fine and rare vase clock, 8 day time piece with platform escapement, clock with turning numeral rings set around a vase, with lid and cover, gilt handles on the sides. Amazing quality of the flower painting on a blue céleste ground.
Creation of this vase clock is inspired by an earlier time piece. It was made after the original in the collection of M. le Baron Alphonse De Rothschild has is shown on the drawing.
