The clock in a hexagonal case, fire gilt and silver-plated bronze, with glazed oval windows which make the clockwork visible all around, bell to the base, silver-plated feet. A gild cross with the Corpus Christi and above a flying angel, surmounted by a revolving globe with the hour dial ring and a fixed hand attached to the cross. Beneath the cross are the Virgin Mary and Saint John with a skull and bones. Inside the case is a one day running clock movement, fusee and verge escapement, hours striking mechanism on a bell. Splendid fully gilt plate, with openwork and engraved decor, signature Georg Schulz Königsberg, working as a clockmaker circa 1650.
