Carrige clock with gilded bronze case, signed A.H. Rodanet Fournisseur de la Marine de l 'Etat, 36 Rue Vivienne à Paris. Two circular enamel dials, a silver-plated front between the Corinthian columns. High-quality travelling clock with duration of 8 days. Full and half-hour striking on a gong. The alarm wakes up on a gong, after which the cylinder plays a melody. Cylinder has two melodies. Music mechanism is wind with a separate key. Can also play a melody on request. About the maker: Auguste Hilaire Rodanet (1837-1907) was the son of watch- and clockmaker Julien Hilaire Rodanet. He was a maker and retailer of timepieces and representative of Patek Philippe in France.
