A rare Dutch Geldern polychrome painted alarm 'stoelklok', 19,5cm polychrome painted dial with Roman numerals, signed Goslink Ruempol Laaren 1746, shaped brass hands and alarm disc, substantial brass and iron posted movement with double top plate and verge escapement, countwheel striking and alarm on a surmounted bell, pierced gilt lead front and side frets, placed on a polychrome bracket, with gable top and pierced fleur-de-lys ornament below.
