30 cm gold-plated dial with 25 white enamel cartouches and blue enamel numerals, the hours in Roman numerals, the minutes in Arabic numerals. Signed Antoine Pelletier à Paris in the middle center and provided with three winding holes. Beautifully styled blued hands.
Eight-day spring-powered movement, pendulum with silk suspension. Bell quarter percussion on two bells by means a quarter-hour closing disc, one more percussion every fifteen minutes and four percussions alternately on a large and small bell on the hour. The beautifully tailored Boulle case has been crowned by Cupid with his lyre. The tortoise-lined case features brass marketer work and ormolu bronze masks, ram's heads, dragon heads and cupid with the beautiful dazzling Psyche in the door. Furthermore, an ojief-shaped console.
