The posted frame movement with three trains on weights and anchor escapement with long pendulum. The imposing bronze detailed dial together with twenty five enamel blue and white cartouches with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minutes. On top a beautiful sunburst cresting above rampant birds. Under the dial, a lovely ornament bearing the signature Gault Fils a Paris. The clock is mounted on a later iron wall bracket.
