Now in its 45th year, the most prestigious event of the IADA’s calendar, the Annual Fair has come around again. For four days, 23rd – 26th September, the RDS is transformed into a wonderland of unique antiques. Click here for exhibitor listings. No other event in Ireland brings, under one roof, such a spectacular range and choice of genuine, verified antiques.

Whether you visit the Fair to browse or to buy, the range and diversity of the finest collections from over forty exhibitors, all experts in their chosen areas, will delight and tempt. A true reflection of the calibre of antique dealers in Ireland and the place you know you can buy with confidence. On visiting the IADA Fair this year, you will notice changes, we’ve had the decorators in! To showcase the collections to their optimum, we’ve chosen a new layout and decor, easier to navigate your way through centuries of treasures. The ever popular Lecture Series is still there and a new and free service, Meet & Greet, is being offered by two of Ireland’s most renowned Antique Experts, John Lynch & Roxanne Moorhead. Booking is advised for this so please book now to make the most of your visit to the IADA Antique Fair in the RDS Main Hall. We are delighted that Newbridge Silverware are our special exhibit this year. Celebrating this national success story, they are giving visitors to the IADA Antique Fair a special curated viewing of their Vintage Collection, with pieces going back centuries, from their own antique collections. Newbridge Silverware celebrating their heritage in this way, we feel makes them most welcome event partners. Just as everyone has an antique of value in their home, every home has a piece of Newbridge. These could be the antiques of the future. A collector’s item itself, don’t miss the essential guide to the Fair, The Antiques Journal, free on entry at the RDS. Alongside all that’s happening in the trade, specialist articles, etc remember to look out for the opportunities to win a number of specially selected antiques. Without doubt the main attractions of the IADA Antique Fair are to be found in the Main Hall at each Dealer’s stand but above us on the Balcony, for the first time in the history of The Irish Antique Dealers’ Annual Fair, are those experts that the market couldn’t function without – these are the experts whose services – gilding, upholstery, repair, packing and removals – you may well need someday. We urge you to take a trip upstairs. We are sure it will be rewarding! A restoration project will be on view throughout the duration of the Fair. Daly Antique Services will undertake to restore an 18th C Irish mahogany Tallboy supplied by Johnston Antiques of Francis St. From start to finish the progress will be on view on a designated stand. The staff of Daly Antique Services will be pleased to answer all your queries. Mr. Robert O’Byrne, former Fine Art correspondent for the Irish Times, will launch his new book ‘ Romantic Irish Homes’ which will be available for view and purchase during the Fair. A valuation day will be held when IADA members will be available to conduct appraisals and valuations for members of the public.
