The International Confederation of antique and art dealers -

International Confederation of antique and art dealers - a non-profit professional association of private galleries and antique dealers in Russia, was founded in spring 2004. From the very beginning of its existence, the International Confederation of antique and art dealers to place one of its main objectives the formation around the Confederation of community experts in the field of examination of works of art. During the Russian antique Salons numerous surveying parties to ascertain the names of experts who are the players of Russian market antique feel is most competent. This antique has been requested to identify the names and officers of public museums, and their colleagues, antique dealers. Based on the data collected was compiled top experts in various fields of art. To obtain the most accurate data in the voting in the International Confederation of antique and art dealers have been allocated professional sections, depending on the specialization of antique dealers and galleries. The division into sections was in such a way that each gallery was only one or two sections. Professionals who obtain the 2 /3 vote of the members of the professional sections (in accordance with the Regulations on the accreditation of experts with the International Confederation of antique and art dealers, accepted by the MKAAD July 20, 2008), proposed to pass accreditation with MKAAD. In response to recent events in the market of antiques, as well as artificially formed opinion about it, this work has acquired special significance. Against the background of total distrust and recurring problems in the expert committees of museums, it is possible that the activities of these experts as the best specialists in their fields, will play a leading role in overcoming the crisis in the market expertise in Russia and would sharply reduce the number of questionable things in the antique market as in our country and abroad.
