The Armando Museum was hit by a fire on October 22nd 2007. Now the Armando Museum Bureau can be found at the Rietveldpaviljoen, Zonnehof 8, Amersfoort. In this remarkable exhibition paviljoen, designed by Rietveld, exhibitions and activities will take place on a smaller scale untill the reopening of the Armando Museum in 2011 in the rebuild Elbow Church.

Armando's connection with the city of Amersfoort and his wish to concentrate all his work in one location led to the opening of the Armando Museum in 1998. This is an active museum where you can come face to face with all the disciplines in which Armando has been engaged, presented in temporary exhibitions held twice a year. There's no other place in the world where this kind of experience is possible except the Armando Museum. You can enjoy his paintings, sculptures and drawings, or spend some time reading from the literature.
