The 27th edition of Art Amsterdam will be held from 11 to 15 May 2011 in the Parkhal at the RAI in Amsterdam.
With 134 galleries from Europe, North America and Asia participating, Art Amsterdam is the largest contemporary and modern art fair in the Netherlands. The fair constitutes a step into the spotlights for young talent and a platform for established names in post-war art. A wide range of photography, painting, sculpture, video art, installations and drawings will be exhibited. The range of participating galleries is more international than ever: well over a third of them hailing from outside the Netherlands. Germany is particularly well represented with 23 participants. Furthermore, the fair features galleries from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, the UK, Italy, South Korea, Norway, Spain, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Switzerland.
