The Los Angeles Art Show (LAAS), the premier and most significant art fair in the Western United States will return to the L.A. Convention Center from January 19-23, 2011.

The largest and most eclectic such event on the West Coast (it attracted 40,000 visitors last January), offering Old Master, Impressionist, modern, and contemporary works and sponsored by the Fine Art Dealers Association. This annual show is expected to draw about 130 exhibitors from around the world for its 16th edition. This year the fair hosts a lecture series as well as a special exhibition related to the Getty Foundation’s ambitious "Pacific Standard Time" series, due to launch in fall 2011, which will trace the development of Southern California’s art scene. The 150,000-square-foot venue will also contain special spaces show- casing top Southern California museums. Joining FADA is the IFPDA Print Fair, which offers works on paper from North America, Europe, Latin America, and Japan, along with demonstrations of such age-old techniques as etching, screen printing, woodcutting, and stone lithography. Presented by the [Fine Art Dealers Association (fada)](http://www.artlistings.com/nl/verenigingen/d/1976/fada-fine-art-dealers-association/), the Los Angeles Art Show will take place on January 19-23, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
