Willem Hussem (Rotterdam 1900 – The Hague 1974) was a Dutch painter, sculptor and poet. In 1919 he stayed in Southern France and in 1933 in Paris, where he met Picasso and Mondriaan. After the Second World War his paintings became abstract.
