Jan Voerman jr, was trained by his father Jan Voerman sr, he became known for painting subjects based on nature, still lifes with plants and especially flowers as subject, he was also commissioned by the Verkade firm to design the new images for the Verkade albums, he did for years, work by Jan Voerman Jr hangs in the Museum Kampen, the Voerman Museum in Hattem and the Museum Fundatie in Zwolle.
