At first glance it looks like a classic painting, a state portrait. If you look longer you see that the piece of cloth is a curtain, which is held up around her waist with a cord. The woman is wearing a simple singlet. She seems frozen, there is an elusive tension. It is an apparition that seems to be able to step out of the painting.
