  • Two-part piece 
  • The upper case with molded broken pediment cornice with in the center a winged lion head above a cartouche with inscription 'HPE'
  • The cornice overhanging two glass arched doors 
  • These doors open to reveal inner shelves offering convenient storage for books
  • The lower section, larger in depth, is made of a drop-front desk at the top opening to open compartments, surrounded by petite drawers and the writing area, underneath a drawer a cellar 
  • The bottom part has two small and two long drawers
  • Bronze mounts
  • The furniture is decorated with a beautiful gilt plethora scenes in Chinoiserie decor: landscapes, exotic animals and figures. The sides are no less beautiful decorated.
  • Raised on scrolled bracket feet
