An imposing pair of fire-gilt and patinated bronze candelabra in the shape of a priestess from ancient times. The female figures support with their hands the vases on their heads that form the basis of the four-light candlesticks. Three arms with floral decorations sprout from the flower-decorated vase, each of which carries a candle holder. The fourth candleholder is the crowning glory of the vases. The female figures are on globes which have flowers on the front. Underneath a ribbed base that changes into a round with palmettes that end on a square base.
The priestesses refer to the “Goût Égyptienne” inspired by Napoleon's Egyptian campaigns.
