Four (two pairs) wooden three-light wall appliques gilded with gold leaf.
The lower part of the back plate in the shape of entwined acanthus shoots surrounded by foliage. The tendrils, curving to the left and right, form the two lower arms which, above bound together bay leaves, carry the drip pans and fluted bobèches.
Halfway down the wall plate a fluted column base, above which the third arm adorned with an acanthus leaf, arches outwards from a bay leaf ornament. Drip pan and bobèche emerge from the tied bay leaf. The top of the back plate is modelled as fluted cornucopia surrounded by a laurel wreath. Each horn is filled with different types of flowers and foliage.
The four wall sconces, each with slightly different details, form a charming ensemble.
